Hello all! I can't believe it's been SIX MONTHS since my last Journal entry. I've been such a bad dA member: not keeping up with my art, or my watch list, or... well, anything really. It's so sad!

But, as you may have noticed, my art has been updated again at last-- this time with a very, very late birthday gift for -- and is likely to be updated again in the near future... I hope.

I have so many things swirling around in my head. So many crossovers and tributes and theory pieces that I need to squeeze in before Avatar ends and... just... SO, SO MUCH. I really hope I find time to get through most of them. Also, I'm toying with the idea of trying my hand at animation-- by which I mean simple gif art that would likely be icon fodder. ^_^

Also, I've added a webcam image! It was initially something I made for upon request, but he's not using right now so... I guess I will! PHEAR MAH MSPAINT MANIP SKILLZ AND CHEESY, UNORIGINAL TEXT!

Hello, my dA Avatards! It's been so long, I've missed you all. *glomps*

Until today I've been in a fanart slump, in which nothing I did came out the way I wanted it to and I was often tempted to spork my eyes out. But I've finally managed to create something I'm pretty happy with! Yay! So I'll be uploading that in a few minutes. It's my first Maiko. I've been meaning to do one for a long, long time, but the combination of awesome season three promos and a Flaming Knives contest finally gave me the encouragement I needed.

I have well over a thousand messages to attempt to get through and many places browse, so sorry in advance if I never get around to something you've posted or sent me. I'll try my best to get fully caught up with everything, though.

Yay! My second semester in college is over, and I've been soaking up the sun. Of course, by "soaking up the sun" I really mean "sitting in front of the computer and sleeping all day." Now that I have so much free time, I'll (hopefully) be able to get more art done. Squeeness.

As you may have already noticed, my gallery has been updated with my most recent "Illustrate the Quote" entry for the ASN Pai Sho board. (That thread is awesome, btw, you guys should check it out.) I've been obsessed with Mai and Ty Lee lately, and this entry was the result. XD

NEWS! My Katoph art is now the fifth most popular Katoph deviation on dA! And my Tokka art is something like 24th most popular Tokka deviation, I think. Yeah, 24th doesn't sound that impressive, but at least it's on the very first page of the Tokka search. It's at the very bottom, but it's there! ^_^

Again, thank you so much to everyone who regularly views and encourages my art. I love you guys.

In the three weeks since I joined dA and started making Avatar fanart, I've gotten 1,000 pageviews. Thank you so much to everyone who's taken the time to look at my stuff. It means a lot. ^_^

Being a yuri entusiast, I've been meaning to do a slashy Avatar fanart for a long time, and just now got around to doing it after seeing Xgamerkf's newly colored Katoph piece (which is gorgeous, btw).

I also have a list of arts I want to get done in the coming weeks that includes, but is not limited to, Maiko, Sukka, and more Kataang and Tokka. Plus I'm thinking about doing a couple of non-shippy ones. Crazy, right? XD

In other shippy news, if any of you are fans of Sukka, you should check out the new Sukka group here: xxsokka-x-sukixx.deviantart.co… seems the old Sukka group has gone inactive, so Kimba616 has been kind enough to create this one. It needs members and art loves.
