Hello again! I'm back from yet another very long fanart hiatus. It's so nice being on break and having time to do stuff like this again. ^__^
Finally, another Kataang piece. I haven't done one since my very first dA submission. GOOD TIMES. I don't know when I first thought to have Katara biting/nibbling/suckling affectionately on Aang's big, adorable ears-- but I've known for months that it would be the next one I did of them. I wanted to make an intricate Western Air Temple background, but I had already stayed up all night working on the characters themselves and decided I was too tired to try something so ambitious (especially considering I've never done a real background before) so I just threw together something that I thought might pass for Western Air Temple wallpaper. 8D I'm not completely satisfied with it, but (conceptually at least) it's my favorite of all of my art so far.
As always, lineart done in MSPaint, finishing touches done in GIMP. Thanks to ASN for the two DoBS screenshots I used as reference.
